Our Services

Therapetics specializes in training service dogs for Oklahomans with physical disabilities. The dogs we train can pull a wheelchair, turn light switches on or off, help pull doors open, retrieve dropped articles, provide stability while the owner transfers from the wheelchair to a car, open and close drawers, or other tasks specific to the owner's unique needs and situation.

We have also trained social or companion dogs. A social dog is a dog who is permanently placed in a home or care giving facility to provide therapeutic benefits.

In the future, Therapetics hopes to expand its services to include hearing dogs.

In general, Therapetics dogs are placed with individuals who have a qualifying disability and live in the state of Oklahoma or within a 150 mile radius of Tulsa. Because our facilities are located in Tulsa, potential clients must also be able to travel to attend training classes at our offices.

If you are interested in a Therapetics dog, please complete the following questionnaire. Please be aware that this is just a first step in the process to receive a dog. A more formal application packet and interview are necessary to complete the process.
