Adult Qualifications
In exceptional cases, Therapetics will accept an older dog into the program that may have been rescued from a shelter or no longer fits in a family's household. In these cases, the dog must be no older than 12 months of age.
Because our dogs are eventually placed with a partner living with a physical disability, we must have as much information as possible about the dog's behavioral characteristics, history and health before considering the addition of such a dog to our program.
